I used the great image Sexy cat lady to make  a little mixed media index card.  Hope you like this little card.

I colored her up with my copics and fussy cut her.  I really had fun making this.  Hope you like it!!!  If you want more information you can check out my blog here.

Were you "Naughty or Nice"??

Hi Everyone!

Did you all have a great xmas day and are still enjoying the festive season?
I had a very quiet day which is just how I like it!

Today I am sharing another journal page I did with another of the new xmassy images "Naughty or Nice".
LOL which were you?????

Mixed media background for this page - paint, tissue paper, stamps, texture paste and ink sprays. Plus I added some feathers, muslin and the wording is a Silhouette file. Image coloured with Copic markers. I wanted to create and "opposite" effect" so did one side of the page darker colours to match the "naughty" side of the image and the other half of the page "nice" soft pink colours!

I like images that can be adapted for all occasions and I think this image has lots of uses besides xmas!! Would love to see you all use your imaginations and get creative with this one!

You can share your creations at the Facebook group!

distress inked bow cupcake

Hi there everyone! taking a brief break from Christmas here today, even though I really shouldn't be.. it's christmas eve eve and I still have LOTS to do!
however, I've skived off from it long enough to share with you  a little card I've made with the bow cupcake !

this cute little card is sure to please, with watercolour style colouring with distress inks, inlayed die cut sentiment, and pretty rhinestones! the best thing is that it's really not that difficult, and you can whip it up fairly quickly if there's a birthday you need a card for, like pronto!

I used a water brush and my distress inks to colour in a smooshy style, both to colour the cupcake, and a little background as well, before adding some rhinestones dotted around for a bit of extra glitz.

the sentiment on the card is made using a clever die cutting technique - for the explanation of said technique and all the supplies  that I have used in this card,

you can hop on over to my blog :)

hope you enjoyed the break, now back to making sure you have everything wrapped and hidden in time for the big day!

Adrianas Owl Inspirartion

My son loves owls and I have toyed with doing something with this image for a while now..
Owls and Christmas seem to go together so I came up with this CAS card using Adrianas owl

I cut her out using a nestie die.

Edged this cut out with a red felt pen
I coloured her using the following polychromo pencils
Bow - lyra light carmine, moss greeen
Branch - lyra burnt sienna, Faber Castel caput mortuum

Owl - Lyra raw umber, burnt ochre, van dyke brown, gold ochre

The background paper is from my stash.

I had to buy a new Christmas greeting die this year - so made good use of it on red card to match the base card.

I hope this inspires you to join Karleigh Sue challenge and share your projects with us all.

kind regards
Theresa

So for this special make I used the fab Naughty or nice

I colored her up with my copics and fussy cut her.  I really had fun making this.  Hope you like it!!!  If you want more information you can check out my blog here.

You're Tagged in PINK!!!

Hello Everyone!

I'm Sharon and I will be joining as a Guest DT next month but I am sneaking in early to post a couple of Christmas inspiration posts using some of the great festive images available at the Karleigh Sue Store!

I love the designs available at the store - I like a bit of daring and "risqué" style images to create with!

Today I am sharing a mixed media tag.
Background is kitchen/greaseproof paper sprayed with spray inks and scrunched up and adhered to the plain tag. I let the excess hang over and trimmed it all up once it was dry.
Image has been coloured with Copic Markers and fussy cut (I have a fear of white space LOL so you will notice that almost everything I do involves fussy cutting!
I added some puffy white paint to her hat to add some texture and make it look fluffy!
To finish off the tag I sprayed a scrap piece of muslin cloth and added to the bottom of the tag along with a tree charm and some sparkly gems!
Hope you like her - I like to create with non-traditional xmas colours so love using pink for everything!

Hi everyone its not long till Christmas now, today Im sharing a card that Ive made for my husband for Christmas using the sexy Mrs Naughty Claus from Karleigh Sue Designs. To make my card I started off with a printed Christmas card blank and then added a Kaiser Journal card. I coloured my image with copic markers and then cut her out and popped her up with double sided foam tape. To embellish I used some glitter glue and christmas coloured sequins. Inside the card it reads ( is you ).

Christmas is all wrapped up!

Hi there everyone! Rachel is here with you today, hoping you are all like me and have christmas pretty much wrapped up , if you celebrate!

for this weeks card, I have made a little something using the hotness that is the 'gift of more love' digi that is over in the sellfy store!

I've been doing a lot of playing with CAS cards recently, and I thought this particular layout that I devised would perfectly show off this digi!

only 6 more sleeps to christmas, folks!!

for more details on what I used to make this card, and copic colours used, please do go and take a peek at my BRAND NEW blog!

cuddie buddie inspiration

Todays inspiration comes from this digis camouflage onesie..

I knew I had some papers in my stash that would work with her. (these are from an old issue of Making Cards)

So I found suitable colours in my blendable pencils and away we went. - check my blog for the list of colours used

I picked a random layout from my box and layered each piece up onto craftcard.
Going back in time to use a peel off for the greeting ;-) lol

I hope you find this inspiring and pop over to Karleigh Sues challenge and share your projects.

kind regards
Theresa
